OJO Images photographers Chris Newton and Chris Ryan shoot a range of images covering many security and social issues. The shoot took place in a derelict building in the east end of London, the very same areas that Stanley Kubrick shot the movie Full Metal Jacket. We also got to play at war games and riots...with lots of guns, smoke and fire.Well done to Steve Smith who shot it and to Chris Newton who cut it....watch out Ridley Scott!

Chris Ryan and Rob Daly travelled with CEF to Guatemala to see first hand how the all fund raising efforts are being used. Chris Ryan and OJO Images would like to thank all those who kindly donated their time,talents and energy on the shoot days last year and this year and we hope you will join next year to help us continue to support Compassionate Eye Foundation’s work and projects.

Photographer Simon Taplin talks to OJO Images about shooting royalty-free stock photography in Asia and Europe.

This year OJO Images gave its support to the ’Compassionate Eye Foundation’ by organising a one day charity shoot with Getty Images London. Big thanks again to every-one involved...the organised chaos of 5 photographers, 5 art directors, 14 crew and 72 models shooting in two huge studios... created 216 images for the charity. The royalties that CEF receive from these images will be used to help provide school facilities to areas of extreme poverty in Guatemala.

This is pure boys toys stuff…..a current big favourite with a couple of the guys here in the OJO office. I’d love to have been a fly on the wall at the meeting…when JWT told Shell it was going to cost $4 million to produce the spot…but they did get a wonderful film for their money. It’s a shame that the only city that refused to give permission for Shell/ Ferrari to shoot on its city streets was London. I’m sure this breathtaking film will enter the TV ads hall of fame.

I love this ad,it makes me laugh every time i see it, even though its a such a random concept...everyone remembers the product. Will it make me buy more though? I doubt it... but hats off to its creator Juan Cabral at Fallon.. as every one i know who has seen it loves it. The urban myth is that its Phil Collins in the suit...?
